BIP Landscapes in Stone. Lithography

[Cat.] Del 17 al 21 de febrer de 2026 se celebrarà el Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Landscapes in Stone. Lithography, un projecte internacional en el marc d’Erasmus+, organitzat per l’Escola d’Art d’Olot conjuntament amb l’Escola Llotja. Hi participen també l’Accademia di Brera i la Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, promovent l’intercanvi acadèmic i artístic entre estudiants i professors de totes les institucions participants.

Landscapes in Stone posa en diàleg la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa, la ciutat d’Olot, indrets singulars i la producció artística. Alhora, aprofundeix en el llegat de Joan Miró, antic alumne de Llotja i figura clau en l’experimentació amb la litografia.

La primera jornada a Olot inclourà la descoberta del territori i del Volcà del Croscat, així com un taller de dibuix a l’aire lliure relacionat amb la il·lustració de natura, amb Alba Azaola. A Barcelona, l’activitat continuarà amb la visita a la Fundació Joan Miró i un taller intensiu de litografia conduït per l’artista Raquel Ro.

Els participants crearan projectes propis utilitzant tècniques com la litografia, el chine-collé i els processos de transferència. El BIP es conclourà amb una exposició final a la Nau U de Llotja, on es podran veure els resultats de les obres litogràfiques realitzades pels participants.

[Eng.] From 17 to 21 February 2026, the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Landscapes in Stone. Lithography will take place, an international project within the framework of Erasmus+, organized by the Escola d’Art d’Olot together with Escola Llotja. The programme also involves the Accademia di Brera and the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, promoting academic and artistic exchange among students and faculty from all participating institutions.

Landscapes in Stone creates a dialogue between the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone, the city of Olot, unique local sites, and artistic production. At the same time, it explores the legacy of Joan Miró, a former student of Llotja and a key figure in lithographic experimentation.

The first day in Olot will include exploring the territory and the Croscat Volcano, along with an outdoor nature drawing workshop focused on illustration, led by Alba Azaola. In Barcelona, activities will continue with a visit to the Fundació Joan Miró and an intensive lithography workshop conducted by artist Raquel Ro.

Participants will develop their own projects using techniques such as lithography, chine-collé, and transfer processes. The BIP will conclude with a final exhibition at Nau U in Llotja, showcasing the lithographic works created by the participants.
